It makes me sad... Listen to this one story: A man and his wife go into a bar, and sit down at a table. the man goes to the bathroom. then anther woman comes up and takes the mans chair, without even asking. Then the mans wife says "Excuse me, someone is sitting there" the woman taking the chair gives her a disgusting look and continues to take it. then the mans wife says "Excuse me!" the the woman taking the chair, grabs a beer bottle, smashes it and cuts the mas wife! The mans wife needed like 10 stitches... What the hell?? Over a CHAIR? I mean c'mon! And another one, I heard about a man who breaks into someones house. The owner of the house, subdues the robber. And the robber, a few days later, Sues the house owner! AND WINS THE CASE!!! I mean, when Laws overpower common sense, you've gone to far! And school shootings have like doubled or even tripled over the past while! This is ridiculous! What has happened to society? Its so hard to find nice people these days! On this one IM program I use you can "Chat Now!" which opens a random chat with some random people, a great way to meet people, but I chat with say, 10 people, 2 are nice, 3 just leave the chat... and the other 5 start insulting you for no reason! And in another game i play called Runescape, it is SOOOOOOOOOo hard to find someone nice. Ive read things on the forums, say someone makes a post about a bug or something that got him killed. then some immature jack arse comes and posts "lolz u got owned nub! u shuld go make ot wit yer mom or sumthin loz!" All this makes me sad, what is wrong with people these days?

One. People are just idiots, in referring to the first two stories.
Two. It's not that school shootings have doubled or tripled. It's just that we don't hear about them as often.
Three. The problem with this point of your question is the fact that all your examples come from the internet. Of course, you don't go out much, but you can't judge a lack of nice people based on the internet, which is full of jerks. Of course reality has jerks too.

Well, After a bit of internet searching, i have found this graph So, i guess i was wrong. Three. False, Not all of em, The first one mom told me, who was told by a friend -insert a long string of friends being told by friends- who was told by the person assulted. Anyways, look at this www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5480227And, im not talking about just the Jerks, im more talking about the Murderers, Thieves, Vandals, Rapists, Etc etc... There are far more than there used to be. And I personally blame the Justice system. I heard on the news about a kellier, who was in jail for ONLY THREE YEARS! I heard of a rapist, who got 2 years.. Thats not justice! I beleive a good justice system would be an eye for an eye. A guy kills someone, he gets killed. Guy rapes someone, he gets his thing chopped off. I know id be a hellova lot more hesitant about committing a crime if i knew the punishments were more severe than they are now. Also, These days being a Gangsta is considered cool by tons of people, fifteen-twenty years ago, most Gangstas would be looked down at by everyone, and even be thrown in jail.

That first story is truely awful!! Over a chair?! I hope that Lady got what she deserved! The second story is terrible too.... We hardly get 2 school shootings a year here. It's rather the football (soccer) fans that cause trouble in the streets that we have to worry about. And these 'Chavs' in London.
As for us here in the UK, here we have just had a case;
The father of a seven-year-old girl who died after being involved in an accident while riding a quad bike on a public road may face charges, police said.
Officers said they were examining the "culpability" of "all parties" involved in the death of Elizabeth Cooke on Boxing Day.
The youngster and her 10-year-old brother Jack were riding petrol-engined quad bikes behind their father Gary's Range Rover near the family home in Blackmore, Essex when the accident happened.
Elizabeth, who had been given the quad bike for Christmas, was initially taken home and died in hospital later after suffering "internal" injuries.
Police said Elizabeth's quad bike was in collision with a Range Rover driven by a 28-year-old woman from Brentwood, Essex, shortly after 6pm.
A spokeswoman said officers were continuing to investigate the accident and added: "We are making further inquiries and examining the culpability of all involved parties."
Sources said the investigation could take months.
The 28-year-old woman, who has not been named, was initially arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
Police today said she would not be charged with that offence.
But officers said the woman could be charged with careless driving.
That stupid dad!! Giving his 7 year old a quad bike for Xmas >.>

And they barely even cared! Disgusting.. *shakes head*
